Mid-Atlantic Broadband Communities Wins Global Telecoms Business Innovation Award 

South Boston, VA – May 18, 2015Mid-Atlantic Broadband Communities Corporation (MBC), a successful wholesale fiber-optic open-access network transport provider, won Global Telecoms Business Innovation Award with optical vendor Cyan in the wholesale service innovation category. The award recognizes Cyan’s Blue Planet SDN Software Platform, deployed by MBC for automating multi-vendor Ethernet provisions for mobile backhaul.

The Global Telecoms Business Innovation Awards are presented annually to the most innovative projects in the telecommunications industry, attend by industry leaders from across the world.
