Mid-Atlantic Broadband (MBC) is excited to announce that our 3rd annual scholarship application period is now underway! MBC continues to foster our mission of reinvesting in the communities we serve by awarding five scholarships in the amount of $4,000 to deserving high school seniors. These seniors must plan on furthering their education in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) field at an accredited institute of higher learning in the state of Virginia with the goal of receiving an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree. Applicants must currently attend one of the thirty-three high schools located in the Southside Virginia tobacco region served by MBC.
