MBC partnered with state and regional leaders to attract U.K.-based manufacturer Hardide Coatings, Inc., to establish its first Virginia operation. This investment created new high-paying jobs in Henry County.
Sussex County government complex showcases how local governments and MBC working together drive innovation. Installation of MBC fiber to the government complex lowered costs, increased bandwidth and connectivity, and transformed Sussex County’s communications plan.
Surry County Public Schools accessed MBC’s fiber through its Internet Service Provider to increase bandwidth at a fraction of the cost. Increased bandwidth led to online educational resources including distance learning and online testing.
