Tad Deriso – President & CEO

Tad Deriso – President & CEOTad focuses on larger business and economic development projects and partnerships, maintaining positive relationships with MBC stakeholders and providers of capital, and expanding MBC’s relationships with regional, national, and international organizations. He has been involved with the rural telecommunications industry for over 20 years, working with rural telecommunications providers and cooperatives. He brings a deep understanding of the issues and resource needs surrounding broadband, wholesale optical transport services, and rural economic development issues.

Gray Ramsey – Vice President/General Manager

Gray Ramsey – General ManagerGray is responsible for MBC’s day-to-day operations, including addressing MBC’s Member needs in Southern Virginia, assisting Members and their communities with strategies for last-mile broadband efforts and business development. He has had a wide range of experience with senior-level management positions at Sprint, several CLEC operators, and wireless infrastructure companies.

Hunter Ford – Network Operations Manager

Hunter Ford – Network Operations ManagerHunter manages the coordination of planning, engineering, permitting, design, construction, and inspection of new fiber builds for connectivity to MBC Members. He has overall responsibility for the management and maintenance coordination of the 800+ mile MBC fiber optic outside plant network. Prior to joining MBC, Hunter worked for CenturyLink (formerly known as Embarq, Sprint, and Central Telephone of Virginia) in South Boston, Virginia. He held various positions in network engineering, outside plant planning, and supervision.
